Joan's Gladius Share

Hi All,

As a keen motorcycle rider and constant visitor to Avon City Suzuki  I was asked if I would be interested in giving my option as a lady rider on a bike I had on loan for the weekend as mine was in the shop..

I must say I was very apprehensive at first when they suggested I take the Gladius out...

But OMG it was outstanding, as soon as I sat on it and left the premises I was smiling in my helmet.  My apprehension in the first instances was  the weight of the bike for me as I’m only around 50kg, to push this bike around it seem quite solid... however once on it and on the road it felt like a mountain bike, so light and agile it made me laugh..

I had one of the best rides out on this amazing bike the fit was unbelievable so balanced I thought it had been handmade to suit..

The slightly upright riding position and hand width was perfect, the clutch light and the power smooth. It felt like a fat supermotard with its playfulness. Handling was incredible, it just listened to what you wanted and was just so effortless through the corners. Its surefooted ness made it one of the best rides I have had in a long time..

I found the seating and leg positions extremely comfortable, the seat looks like it would be quite hard but honestly really comfortable and love that it is slightly molded around where the top of the legs are so no pressure points.

The smooth power is impressive whether you were flicking through the gears quickly or just cruising it... and the best thing of all the gear indicator light.. Man that is so great to have at no time did I have to think what gear am I in and coming up to intersection no guessing.. Loved it..

I have to say it is one bike I would not even consider changing the exhaust on.. What a great sound it has very cool, sexy, deep note.

This bike was so impressive I truly can’t say enough  good things about it.. Would in a heartbeat own it..

Personally I could not find anything I didn’t like about the Gladius and I thought long and hard before making that comment..  The only downside was the end of the ride once it was finished I just wanted to go do it all over again..

Man .......it is seriously one great fun bike.... I simply adored it  J
